Sadia Hameed (born 6 June 1986) is a British ex-Muslim, socialist, secularist, women's rights and human rights activist, and spokesperson for the Council of Ex-Muslims of Britain. Hameed grew up in Oxford, where she lost her faith aged 15, but was told to keep silent about it. Her brother Razaa was constantly bullied for being an outspoken atheist, and he took his own life in 2015, greatly distressing Sadia. Because Razaa's last wishes weren't respected at his funeral this estranged Sadia from her family. She became an activist for ex-Muslims, and featured in Deeyah Khan's documentary film Islam's Non-Believers (2016).
